I’ve struck gold

I’ve just discovered Winsor & Newton’s beautiful Gold artists’ acrylic (seen here on a black textured background along with a few touches of Quinacridone Gold and Dioxazine Purple).

For sale on Etsy and on my ‘Paintings for sale’ page.

Now… what else can I paint gold?

Not so sure

“…it’s easier to do trivial things that are urgent than it is to do important things that are not urgent (like thinking) and it’s also easier to do little things we know we can do than to start on big things that we’re not so sure about.” John Cleese

I’m raiding the vaults to find images to illustrate some of my favourite quotes ― and there are plenty more where this came from.

A special request

Hi. This is not spam… this is me with a special request.

Amanda is an awesome woman who needs money to repair her van. She is a single mum with six children. She is autistic and three of her children are also on the autism spectrum. Life is an adventure for this family at the best of times but a few days ago their only vehicle was broken into by a would-be thief and damaged.

Please help if you can.
