Thanks, Jo. It was my contribution to a photography exhibition at art college. The photos accompanied the poem ‘Smiling in a built up area’ by Mark Reaney:
Caught red-handed
smiling in a built up area.
Not even
a sly smirk
or a leer
but a fully-fledged
no holds barred
beam
in a grey Friday
bank queue.
Please excuse us
for sharing something
of the joy of living
in a public place
without a permit.
Very good, i like it – are you a student or teacher? Best wishes, thanks for all your posts.
I was a student (I now have a graphic design diploma). Going back to college in my forties was brilliant… so much better than being a teenager! It was a great course too — lots of drawing and photography as well as design. So it’s true what they say… it’s never too late to follow your dreams ; )
i like this Anna – what is the nucleus exhib?
