New Zealand’s largest lake: nine photos side by side; nine distinct moments in time; one grand view.

  1. Love your panorama of Taupo (especially as I’m a Kiwi girl!) and thanks for stopping by my blog. Jane

  2. Nice to see it in Summer weather Anna ! When we passed by on one very grey blowy day travelling South the swell and movement of this expanse of water made it feel like one vast landlocked ocean !

  3. This is great Anna. Your comment of “nine distinct moments of time” made me ponder what a panorama would look like if it was actually an amalgam of shots taken through history. It’s something I’d be incapable of doing as my computer literacy in respect of photography is not great. I’m sure you’d be able to do it! It was clearly a lovely day when these shots were taken. The only time I’ve seen Lake Taupo was on a cold, windy and wet day.

    1. I really like the idea of an historic panorama… I just don’t think I’d have the patience to sit in one spot for a hundred or so years… Why is there never a time machine handy when you want one ; )
