This is not one of the paintings I originally planned to do for next month’s exhibition but it was whispering in the back of my brain, nagging me to be painted ― so here is my first day’s progress: the underpainting. There are a few areas I want to correct but, overall, I really like the way this one is coming together.

  1. Hello Anna,
Wanted to stop by and look around and thank you for stopping by and looking around and liking a few of my Wordless Wednesday pix =mostly of my cat, Josephine aka Josephine Ballerina.
I do enjoy watching the process as your paintings unfold. Gonna follow you on bloglovin’.
Happy Friday, Anna! m & jb

    1. Welcome and thank you, M and JB : ) Yes, I’m a sucker for a cute cat pic. I spent all of last year posting Wordless Wednesday photographs — I really enjoyed the challenge. I’ve put the camera down this year to focus on painting. Those WW photos have been invaluable as references. Who knows, I might even stray from landscapes and paint a cat one day. Thanks for visiting, Anna
