They finally arrived in the post… my samples of ‘Canterbury in Pink Light’ as a paper cup! My painting of the Canterbury Plains and Southern Alps was chosen to be one of the artworks in the current BioCup Art Series. I was thrilled when they contacted me earlier in the year and asked me to be part of the project. And now here they are, and they’ve started popping up all over the place… so far I’ve seen photos on Instagram of my cup design in Sydney and Brisbane. I can’t wait to see where they turn up next!
The Art Series is produced by BioPak, an Australian-owned environmentally responsible packaging company that supports and promotes New Zealand and Australian artists by printing their work on BioCups. The cups are available from cafés around New Zealand and Australia. Click here to see the current BioCup Art Series and read about the artists and their artworks.

What a cool thing to get to be a part of. Congrats!
Thanks, Sarah. I think it’s pretty cool too! Now I just need to find out which local cafés sell them : )

Thanks, Louise : ) Yes, it’s going to be fun seeing where they pop up next!
Hello Anna , I’ve just seen our BBC news . Thinking of you all in and around Christchurch xx
Thanks, Louise. Yes, it was a wild ride (in the house) last night ~ now officially our biggest quake! We’re okay. Not very happy, but okay, xxx
SO good to hear Anna x Take care .
That’s great! 🙂 So happy for you! ….you know what this means don’t you? more coffee stops! 🙂
Loving it! I just picked up my coffee (in Brisbane) on the way to work and was admiring your artwork. I was thinking as I was looking at it that it looked like home (I’m from Methven, Canterbury) and how much I missed seeing the mountains. I was very excited when I turned it over to read that it was Canterbury and MY mountains! Beautiful piece of work and that coffee cup will be rinsed and live on my desk so I can see my mountains again.
Thank you very much for your comments, Bianca, and for letting me know how much you love the painting. Those mountains define home for me too. No matter how I try, I can’t seem to stop painting them!
Coffee and a view – how wonderful🙂
