I am saving this one for June’s exhibition ~ it looks so much better in person than in the photos. I will post details of the exhibition a little closer to the time.

    They always do.

It really bothers me that most people’s experience of art these days is a half a second look at a tiny square or rectangle on Instagram–on a phone. That’s a world away from seeing a painting in person.

    1. Fast and tiny and flat is not ideal, I agree. Possibly better than nothing? But there are still those who appreciate the real thing, who visit galleries and exhibitions, and who love colour and texture and like to linger and look a little longer.

      1. Yes, better than nothing. And, I admit, there are many paintings I would never get to see if they weren’t online.
